Inventory + Gear UI Concepts

The purpose of this personal project was to create understandable and clean user interfaces that could be used in the inventory/gear system of a Sci-Fi RPG style game. My goal was to create multiple visual UI concepts of Inventory or Gear UI Systems that could be navigated via controller—with either a cursor style selection or more traditional controls. The aesthetics were aimed at being more minimal and clean, while still maintaining accents of color in various key positions. For this project I got to concentrate on designing areas of game UI that I personally enjoy, which made it all the more fun to work on. The programs used for this project were Illustrator and a bit of Photoshop.
